 دکتر وحید قبادیان
در سال 1335 در تهران متولد شد. دیپلم خود را در رشته ریاضی در 1354 از دبیرستان البرز دریافت کرد. وی دوره لیسانس و فوق لیسانس خود را در رشته معماری در دانشگاه ایالتی اهایو در آمریکا گذرانید و دکتری خود را در سال 1379 در همین رشته از دانشگاه آزاد اسلامی دریافت کرد.
دکتر قبادیان به مدت دو سال در دانشگاه ایالتی اهایو و از سال 1364 تاکنون در دانشگاه های مختلف کشور تدریس نموده است. وی سخنرانی های متعددی در زمینه معماری اقلیمی و معماری معاصر در مجامع دانشگاهی و تخصصی ایراد کرده است.
وی همچنین مقالات مختلفی را در زمینه معماری اقلیمی و معاصر در نشریات علمی و حرفه ای منتشر کرده است.
وی کتاب هایی را تالیف یا ترجمه کرده است که پاره ای از آن ها بدین عناوین هستند:

- مبانی و مفاهیم در معماری معاصر غرب، دفتر پژوهش های فرهنگی

1- مقدمه ۩استفاده از بادگیر از سنوات بسیار قدیم در ایران متداول بوده است. بادگیر ها با اشکال مختلف در شهر های مرکزی و جنوب ایران ساخته شده که هر کدام بر حسب ارتفاع و جهت باد مطلوب طراحی و اجرا شده اند. تا قبل از اختراع کولر برقی و گسترش آن در شهر های مختلف، از بادگیر در ابنیه مختلف مسکونی، مذهبی و خدماتی استفاده می شده است و هنوز هم می توان باقیمانده این بادگیر ها را در اقلیم گرم و مرطوب جنوب در شهر هایی مانند بندر عباس، بندر لنگه، قشم، بوشهر و اقلیم گرم خشک نواحی مرکزی مانند کرمان، نایین، یزد، طبس، کاشان، سمنان، اصفهان و حتی نواحی جنوب شهر تهران مشاهده نمود. 2- طرز کار بادگیر ۩ |
